It was a quiet day here. I tossed books and checked the mail. I am bad about checking the mail. It's a PO Box, so I only go pick it up when I'm in the area anyway. Today I made a special trip to get it, simply because I hadn't been in that part of town all week.

Watched football: AZ Cardinals lost to New Orleans 45-14. I'm not a fan of either team, but since the Cardinals used to be a St Louis team, I was kind of hoping they'd win.

I remember the "Cardiac Cards" of the 70s. I remember when they moved to Phoenix, and St Louis didn't have a football team. That's when my family and friends in the St Louis area started supporting the Bears. Even after moving to FL in 1990, we remained die-hard Bears fans. Of course, St Louis DID get the Rams, in '93 I think it was?

I'm going to clean up the kitchen, get coffee pots set for morning, and just relax with a novel. May tomorrow be a good day, or at least better, for all!
